This herb is represented just twice on London’s street signs, as Verbena Close near Plaistow and Verbena Gardens in Hammersmith.

Verbena

There are several variants of the herb verbena, but the most common culinary use is for lemon verbena, which has a delicious sherbet-lemon flavour and is delicious in cream, ice-cream, cakes and to make tea.
