Lamb

Lamb is featured four times on London’s street signs: Lamb Close in Northolt, Lamb Lane in Hackney, Lamb Street in Spitalfields and Lamb Walk in Enfield. Lamb Street is an old road of Spitalfields, likely dating from the 1600s.

Lamb

Lamb is one of the most common meats around the world, taken from the domestic sheep. Lamb is from animals younger than one year old, while mutton is from older sheep. Any cut of lamb can be braised or pot-roasted, but it works well in stews, curries, shawarmas, and a huge variety of other cuisines.
