Milk

Milk Street in the City of London, was the site of London’s medieval milk market. It is first mentioned as ‘Melecstrate’ in a source dating from c. 1132–1150. Other instances of Milk on London’s street signs include Milk Street in both Bromley and in North Woolwich, as well as a Milk Yard in Shadwell.

Milk

Milk is used to make yogurt, cheese, pudding, hot chocolate and french toast, among many other products. Milk is often added to dry breakfast cereal, porridge and granola. Milk is mixed with ice cream and flavoured syrups in a blender to make milkshakes, and is often served in coffee and tea.
