Unsurprisingly, there are no other mentions of curry on London’s street signs aside from Curry Rise, to the north of Mill Hill East. Genuinely one of the most unexpected foods I found in my explorations of the city’s signage.

Curry is a dish with a sauce or gravy seasoned with spices, mainly derived from the interchange of Indian cuisine with European taste in food.
