Sage

In Britain, sage has for generations been listed as one of the essential herbs, along with parsley, rosemary, and thyme. It has a savoury, slightly peppery flavour. It’s a popular addition to roasted meats – such as pork, turkey and goose – cheeses, and fish dishes; is used in sage & onion stuffing and can be added to soups or used as a garnish.
