Ling

There are a couple of streets named after this fish in London, this Ling Road between Canning Town and Plaistow, and another Ling Road in Erith.

The ling is a large cod-like fish. It is eaten fresh, frozen, or dried, but also preserved in lye, while the roe is a delicacy in Spain.
