There are two instances of this herb on London’s street signs; Peppermint Place is in Leytonstone while there’s a Peppermint Close in Croydon.
Peppermint
Fresh or dried peppermint leaves are often used alone in peppermint tea or with other herbs in herbal teas. Peppermint is used for flavouring ice cream, candy, fruit preserves, alcoholic beverages and chewing gum.
