This wild duck is featured on five of London’s street signs. This Teal Close is in North Beckton; Teal Drive is in Norwood, Teal Place is in Sutton, Teal Road is in Ilford and Teal Street is in North Greenwich.

Teal

Teal are the smallest wild duck, and are reckoned to have the most exquisite texture with a rich and deep flavour. They are most commonly roasted, but the meat can be cooked in a variety of other ways too.
