Dewberry Gardens in North Beckton is joined by Dewberry Street in Bow as the only two examples of this fruit on London’s street signs.

Dewberries

Related to the blackberry, the leaves of the dewberry can be used to make an herbal tea, while the berries are edible and taste sweet. They can be eaten raw, or used to make jam, pies and other desserts.
